If you can’t come to the clinic, the clinic can come to you. Our truck is parked at Drayton Manor theme park this week, and we are confronted with a rush of rashes, from baby Daisy who is suffering from Atopic Eczema, which is surprisingly common in babies, to 3 kids who all have Molluscum Contagiosum, which is a viral infection that causes little papules to appear all over the body. The rash can last for months, without too much discomfort for the child, and is best left to heal itself. This new series explores the conditions and ailments that leave many of us a little red-faced and aims to de-stigmatise common complaints. Three doctors — Dawn Harper, Christian Jessen and Pixie McKenna — will be throwing open the doors of the clinic in a bid to tackle each condition head on, while attempting to take away the sting of shame.
