I’m in my early 20′s and I have been using Proactive once a day but it hasn’t really worked for me. My mom wants me to use it twice a day. I have no idea how to get rid of this acne. I have heard birth control pills might work but I’m not sure if that’s true or not. I didn’t have acne like this when I was a teenager. Best answer: Answer by alwaysmoose Actually birth control pills make it worse. I used this stuff called Retin-A you get it from your doctor but it makes you very sensitive to the sun.
