There are many skin care products out there which claim that they help to get rid of acne scars. However, there are also many natural acne scar treatment options available that a person can go in for. Do not expect any of these methods of acne scar removal at home to show their effects overnight. These are natural remedies that provide slow, but effective and permanent relief from those scars that you are so desperate to get rid of.
1. I guess, I have recommended this remedy, in most of my acne related articles, as this is the number one natural acne cures recipe and the possible best acne facial treatment. For this, you will need, 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder and 1 tablespoon of rosewater. Mix the two together, till you get a viscous paste. Apply the paste, on your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes till it dries out, then wash the face pack with warm water. The granules in the sandalwood powder, exfoliate your skin and bring back the lost radiance. The sandalwood and rosewater face pack, also removes the excess oil from outer layer of the skin, which prevents the acne bacteria from propagating.
2. If you do not wish to use black gram powder and instead want to use something that is soothing, then you can mix sandalwood powder with rose water and make a paste of it and apply it on the scars. Once dry, wash off with cold water.
3. One fabulous and easy way you can prevent acne is by drinking at least 2 liters of water a day. Drinking this amount of water throughout the day keeps you hydrated and helps your body overcome clogged up pores. I know you’re thinking, “I’m going to be in the bathroom all day!” but don’t worry, your body will adjust, it just takes a little time. Also drinking 2 liters of water every day will increase your metabolism by 30%! This means that you can lose weight and acne all in one!
4. Olive oil is very hydrating and beneficial for acne-prone skin, because this oil contains natural antibacterial properties. However, some people with acne might feel reluctant to put oil on their skin because of the fear that it will clog pores. Rest assured that these oils don’t clog pores. Your skin needs moisture, and if excess drying occurs then dead skin cells will accumulate and mix with sebum, which results in clogged pores. Keeping your skin balanced and hydrated prevents acne breakouts.
5. Rather than going in for expensive acne skin care products, one can just use something as simple as oatmeal to get rid of acne. Oatmeal is not just great to lose weight, but to lose facial acne as well. Colloidal oatmeal, or grounded oatmeal, can be used in acne facial treatment. Make a paste out of oatmeal and water. Apply it on the face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. As it begins to dries up, it will absorb the excess oil from the skin, then remove the mask, by washing it with warm water.
6. Another simple solution to acne is a healthy diet. Many fruits and vegetables contain amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, which can help keep your skin looking young and healthy. Certain vitamins, such as vitamin A, help maintain the of skin and mucous membranes, which function as a barrier to viruses and bacteria. Eating healthier also makes you feel better and less stressed throughout the day.
