Can anyone please let me know what is good for dry skin? My skin is dry around my nose, I think mainly in winter. Best answer: Answer by David Drake Yes, I have had this painful and annoying problem as well. Really homemade treatments don’t work for sh**. I’ve trade rubbing my hands in olive oil and sugar as ehow suggested but I guess those guys must’ve been smoking something because that only made it worse. What I did is I used vasaline and lots of it on my hands and frequently. It actually helped and after 2 weeks (yes 2) it finally stopped. They’re still a little bit dry but that’s winter for ya.
