Best answer: Answer by T I’m not a doctor, but my dermatologist is one of the best! He informed me that sylicic acid isn’t the cure for acne, but rather use face washes without sylicic acid. Proactive, according to him, is a fancier version of sylicic acid, I love that stuff though, the texture is great, but it doesn’t stop it from coming back. I use facial toners after I wash, that helps the ph balance, I think to get rid of scars, or make them minimal, you have to give them proper balance of moisture from ph balance and a small amount of moisturizer after. also, try to avoid direct sun light because sun light can be damaging to all skin types, even scars. good luck!
