Oct 31st 2011, 05:00 Question by pilli: should i go to a dermatologist for acne treatment? there are times when my face clears up completely, but most of the time, i always have some acne and redness. i’ve tried all sorts of three step systems and nothing works. is it worth going to a dermatologist, and getting prescription medicine? if so, how much does it usually cost? Best answer: Answer by wheatbread L you can’t detimine how much they cost becasue usually they are covered under insurance. i have gotten Retin-a from them and it cleared up my skin…it’s just senstive to light…but its a boost to get started. sometimes you may be over scrubbing your face which can cause irratation… What do you think?
