Question by tesh: How would Universal Health Care affect people? Treatment wise?
If US had Universal Health Care….then people could afford the needed treatments….is this true and if so…please elaborate and give me some sources

Docs, particularly GPs, are already stretched thin. Adding umpteen number of people to the insured might be good – but not having more doctors to care for them will be a big problem. Family practice is not one of the favorable specialties in medical school. And no one wants to lower the standards of becoming a doctor in this country. You might have insurance but that doesn’t mean there will be a doctor to see you.
