Question by Cassie: Does Epiduo acne treatment really work? Is it covered by CareSource insurance?
I have pretty bad acne and have tried just about everything. I saw a commercial for Epiduo and thought I might try it out. But I’m worried about the cost. Does anyone know how much it is? Is it covered by CareSource insurance? Also, does it actually work? I don’t want to buy it if it’s not even going to help.

Epiduo is really not indicated for bad acne, but rather for mild to moderate acne. It’s a combination of two relatively weak products, and it seems to work OK for mild acne. But if your acne is “pretty bad”, then I’d suggest that you see your local dermatologist and get appropriate therapy.
