Q&A: Skin left burnt and red from acne treatment? Nov 14th 2011, 19:16 Question by prodigykid0: Skin left burnt and red from acne treatment? I tried the Clean&Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment yesterday, and I applied it on my acne as directed. It started to burn my face, and I now have redness around each pimple. The pimple; however, reduced in size from the spot treatment. What I am asking is how to cure the redness left from the chemical burn? Thank you. Best answer: Answer by Matt put like a few spoons of baking soda in a cup ofwater and get some pads or cotton balls or like a paper towl and make sure the water is hot and it will make it feel better and relieve the redness. it happens to me with pro-active.
